Sevket Ozden
Civil Structural Engineer, M.Sc., Ph.D., Professor
Graduated from Bogazici University in 1989 as a Civil Engineer. He received his M.Sc. degree at the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. at Bogazici University in 1998 in the area of experimental reinforced concrete. He studied Earthquake Engineering at IZIIS-Skopje. His area of interest includes gravity and seismic performance evaluation of structures; repair and strengthening of Heritage and Contemporary structures; use of Carbon fiber in Civil Engineering. He completed research projects funded by TUBITAK and NATO, and took part in EU Research projects. He was an active committee member in the recent Earthquake Code Comissions of Turkey (years of 2007 and 2018) in the field of Reinforced Concrete Structures, PreCast Structures and Evaluation and Strengthening of Structures. Sevket OZDEN is the partner who is responsible for the technical issues of OTS.
Onur Ertas
Civil Structural Engineer, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Graduated from Bogazici University in 1998 as a Civil Engineer. He received his M.Sc, and Ph.D. degrees at Bogazici University in the field of experimental reinforced concrete. He worked on reinforced concrete precast post-tensioned systems and hybrid beam-column connections. He completed the first research on hybrid connections in Turkey and developed new theories for the design of such buildings. He also worked on the response of reinforced concrete structures and their seismic strengthening. He took part in TUBITAK and NATO Research Projects as researcher, and in the Earthquake Code Committee of Turkey (2018), in the field of PreCast Structures. He has a wide range experience in designing structures as well as evaluation of their performance and seismic strengthening. Onur ERTAS is the partner who is responsible for the technical issues of OTS.
Ozlem Imren
Civil Structural Engineer, M.Sc.
Graduated from Bogazici University in 1998 as a Civil Engineer. She received her M.Sc. degree at Bogazici University in the field of experimental reinforced concrete, on column shape dependent punching behavior of flat plates. She also attended classes on finance and management, and was awarded with certificates in financial management and investment planning. She worked as a Civil Engineer at design and construction companies specialized in seismic strengthening and performance evaluation. She also work at treasury units of private banks as a foreign currency desk manager. She has experience in investment management, future and options market, and foreign currency investment management. Ozlem IMREN is the partner who is responsible for the project management, business and investment management and PR issues of OTS.
