Strengthening design and field application of fiber polymer materials were provided by OTS for the beams that had demonstrated insufficient shear and moment capacity caused by construction mistakes. Various details were inovated to increase shear and bending capacity. The field application of the strengthening Project was also provided by OTS. Carbon fiber polymer fabric and laminates were used for strengthening. Full confinement was provided for strengthening beams using anchoring system to increase their shear capacity. Special steel elements were designed for junctions between carbon plates and columns. All design and manufacturing processes were supervised by a foreign consultant.
