Within the scope of the tramway subway strengthening project, the survey of dimensions and materials was performed. The structure with reinforced concrete bearing system was analyzed for vehicle loads required by AASHTO standards and the variable horizontal strains that these loads would cause on the tunnel walls. Strengthening design was developed based on obtained results. Earthquake analysis of the subway was modeled by applying the ground displacement profile to the structure.
