TC Ziraat Bankası (Turkish Agricultural Bank) Head Office Building, one of the buildings of the First National Architecture Period, was designed and built by Italian architect Guilio Mongeri. OTS company conducted detection of current damages of the structure, and observed the progress of the damage by placing mechanic and electronic measuring devices in heavily damaged areas. After determination of causes of the damage, strengthening and soil improvement designs were developed within the scope of the building restoration project. Strengthening methods included using micro piles, reinforcement of walls with glass fiber (ARMATEX), and steel sheathing for concrete columns. Field consultancy services were provided both at the soil improvement stage and the stage of the superstructure strengthening during the field application of the design.
